HP: Former CPS Neeraj Bharti's allegations baseless and inappropriate: Ajay Verma

Kangra, Jun 6 (UNI) Himachal Road Transport Corporation (HRTC) Vice-Chairman Ajay Verma on Saturday termed the statements made by former Chief Parliamentary Secretary (CPS) and ex-Jawali MLA Neeraj Bharti against the Himachal Pradesh government and Chief Minister as “baseless and inappropriate.”
Addressing a press conference at Kangra, Verma said that the Congress party had always accorded due respect and recognition to Bharti. He noted that Bharti’s father had held several important positions in Congress governments over the decades and is currently serving as a minister in the state government.
Refuting Bharti’s claims that development works were not being carried out, Verma said he had personally witnessed numerous public works being completed through the efforts of Agriculture and Animal Husbandry Minister Chander Kumar and other ministers.
