HP minister asks officials to expedite recruitment work in education dept

Shimla, Oct 14 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh Education Minister Rohit Thakur chaired a review meeting with senior officers of the Education Department here last night to assess the progress of various government schemes, recruitment processes, and infrastructural restoration works across the state.
He directed that all sanctioned posts be immediately forwarded to the Himachal Pradesh Rajya Chayan Aayog and the Public Service Commission to initiate the recruitment process without delay and ensure vacancies in schools are filled at the earliest.
While reviewing the recruitment of TGTs, JBTs, Punjabi and Urdu teachers, other vernacular language teachers, as well as coaches and DPEs for sports hostels pending with the Commission, the Minister instructed officers to pursue these cases actively to ensure timely appointments.
