HP: Stream of water will flow through heavy snow in Churdhar hill

Nahan, May 12 (UNI) Volunteers from the Chureshwar Seva Samiti are working day and night, braving the bitter cold and heavy snowfall, to restore the drinking water supply at Churdhar, a famous religious site in Himachal Pradesh, which has been disrupted for the past six months.
At many locations on the peak, water pipes are buried under a layer of snow three to seven feet thick. Removing them and restarting the water supply is no less than a major challenge. However, despite the severe challenges posed by nature, the volunteers of the Chureshwar Seva Samiti have put in their best efforts.
The volunteers are having to cut through snow to reach the pipelines. In many places, the pipes are completely frozen, requiring hours of effort to restore water flow. Despite harsh weather and difficult conditions, committee members are working tirelessly to restore drinking water before May 15.
