Hyd: Adibatla town planning officer, assistant caught taking bribe

Hyderabad, Nov 14 (UNI) The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Thursday caught the Town Planning Officer of Adibatla Municipality and his outsourcing Assistant while they were allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 75,000 for issuing a building permission.
According to the ACB statement on Friday, Bandela Varaprasad (A0-1), Town Planning Officer of Adibatla Municipality in Ibrahimpatnam mandal of Rangareddy district, was trapped at his office after he demanded and accepted the bribe through his assistant, Vadala Vamshi Krishna (A0-2).
The bribe was reportedly sought for processing and issuing permission for a G 4 building construction. It said that the amount of Rs 75,000 was recovered from Vamshi Krishna’s possession.
