Hyd: MeeTicket to launch TGRTC Inter-City Bus Services and Digital Bus Passes in Telangana

Hyderabad, Oct 6 (UNI) : Telangana’s Electronic Service Delivery (ESD) division unveiled plans on Monday to expand MeeTicket, the state’s digital ticketing platform, by integrating Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGRTC) inter-city bus services and QR-based digital bus passes, advancing the state’s vision for a seamless smart mobility ecosystem.
The TGRTC integration will enable cashless inter-city bus bookings and digital passes, including Ordinary, Metro Deluxe, Metro Express, Green Metro Luxury (AC), and Pushpak AC passes, catering to commuters, students, and senior citizens.
This move aims to streamline travel, reduce physical queues, and enhance mobile-based ticketing convenience.
Since its launch on January 9, MeeTicket has achieved over 1.35 lakh app downloads, 2.6 lakh ticket bookings, and Rs 2 crore in transactions, earning a 3.5 rating on app stores.
The platform currently serves 221 locations, including Hyderabad Metro, 123 parks, 16 temples, six state-run museums, and heritage sites like the Qutb Shahi Tombs.
MeeTicket’s coverage spans 98 forest locations, 52 tourism boating sites, 16 endowment-managed temples, and nine heritage sites under the Department of Heritage Telangana.
Recent additions include digital ticketing for museums like the Telangana State Archaeology Museum and Gandhi Centenary Museum, simplifying access for tourists and residents.
The official rollout of TGRTC services on MeeTicket is slated for announcement soon, solidifying Telangana’s commitment to digital governance and citizen-focused public mobility.
