Hyd: Mental health becoming major public health concern among youth: Kamineni Doctors

Hyderabad, May 9 (UNI) Medical experts at Kamineni Hospitals here today cautioned that rapid lifestyle changes, increasing social media influence and expansion of Artificial Intelligence (AI) are emerging as major challenges to mental health, particularly among youth.
An awareness programme, titled “More Good Days, Together”, was organised at Kamineni Hospitals, LB Nagar, as part of Mental Health Awareness Month-2026.
Addressing the programme, Senior Consultant Psychiatrist Dr. M. Saradhi Goud said physical and mental health are inseparable and complete well-being is not possible without mental health.

Chennai, June 17 (UNI) The Madras High Court on Wednesday ordered issuance of notices to the concerned parties and adjourned to June 29, the petition filed by Opposition AIADMK against Tamil Nadu Assembly Speaker JCD Prabhakar accepting the resignation of four Rebel AIADMK legislators, who joined joining the ruling Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) of Chief Minister Vijay, when disqualification proceedings were pending against them for voting in favour of the government in the trust vote in violation of the whip.

Chennai, June 17 (UNI) In a major boost to industrial development, the Tamil Nadu government on Wednesday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Hyundai Group's HD Korea Shipbuilding and Offshore Engineering (HD-KSOE) for construction of a greenfield shipbuilding yard involving a massive investment of Rs 38,000 crore and with IN-SPACe to establish a Rs 100 crore Common Technology Facility (CTF) for space vehicles.
