Sasi has resigned as Chairman of the Kerala Tourism Development Corporation (KTDC), fuelling speculation that he is preparing to contest the upcoming Assembly elections, with the Ottapalam constituency emerging as a likely battleground.
Sasi, leader of the Communist Party of India (Marxist), submitted his resignation to the Chief Minister, stepping down from the state-run tourism body just days before Kerala heads to the polls.
