IAF helicopter makes emergency landing in Muzaffarpur

Muzaffarpur, Oct 2 (UNI) A Helicopter of Indian Air Force (IAF) engaged in relief operation in flood hit areas, mande an emergency landing on Wednesday in inundated locality of Muzaffarpur district of Bihar.
As per reports reaching here, Helicopter of IAF was dropping relief packets in flood hit Darbhanga and Sitamarhi districts of Bihar. As the Helicopter took off from Sitamarhi, one of its blades got damaged and pilot made an emergency landing in inundated Aurai block of Muzaffarpur district.
" Helicopter got partially submerged in floof water after landing and all the four personnel including pilot and co-pilot were rescued by locals", sources said adding that all the four personnel were safe. All of them were rushed to Sri Krishna Singh Medical College and Hospital for a medical checkup, sources states
