IMD issues heavy rain alert for many states, forecasts orange alert for Kerala

Kerala, Aug 4 (UNI) The India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecasts heavy rains across several states and issued orange alert for Kerala through August 8.
The IMD issued very light rain and a cloudy sky in Delhi over the next seven days while heavy rain is forecast in Himachal Pradesh through August 6.
Heavy rainfall is forecasted in Jammu and Kashmir from August 4 to 6 and in Himachal Pradesh from August 4 to 6 respectively. While in Uttarakhand, heavy rainfall is expected daily from August 4 to 9 and very heavy rain during August 4 to 5.
