Important for peace & calm to hold, everyone should honour their commitments: India on Gaza accord

Kampala/New Delhi, Oct 15 (UNI) India today said that it is very important for all the parties to the Gaza peace accord to honour their respective commitments, and for peace and calm to hold.
Minister of State for External Affairs Kirti Vardhan Singh, rendering India’s statement during the Meeting of the NAM Ministerial Committee on Palestine in Kampala, said that India welcomes the agreement on the first phase of US President Donald Trump’s Gaza peace plan and commends the initiative and efforts of the US and President Trump.
He said that India also expresses its appreciation to the leadership of two NAM members, Egypt and Qatar, which played an instrumental role in realizing the agreement.
