India’s GSL Medical Institutions partners with Uzbekistan’s Impuls Medical Institute to launch MBBS Program in line with NMC norms

Hyderabad, Oct 5 (UNI) GSL Medical Institutions (India), Rajahmundry (Andhra Pradesh) and Uzbekistan-based Impuls Medical Institute have jointly launched the first-ever MBBS program fully aligned with NMC (National Medical Commissions) norms. With compliance with the Foreign Medical Graduate Licentiate (FMGL) Regulations, 2021, this landmark Indo–Uzbek academic partnership ensures that Indian students pursuing medical education abroad receive training equivalent to Indian MBBS standards — comprising 54 months of academic study followed by 12 months of paid clinical internship, said Dr Tarun Gogineni, Director, GSL Hospitals and Medical Institutions, on the occasion here on Sunday.
The program is fully compliant with all NMC requirements, including English-medium instruction, NMC syllabus, cadaveric dissections, and dual clinical exposure across affiliated hospitals; he said the entire curriculum was designed by the Indian medial experts.
Students will also receive integrated year-round training for both Indian (FMGE/NExT) and international licensing exams (USMLE/ UKMLA/MRCP/MRCS) under the guidance of Indian and global faculty, he informed.
