India voices deep concern over Doha attack, condemns violation of Qatar's sovereignty, in UNHRC statement

Geneva/New Delhi, Sep 16 (UNI) India today voiced its deep concern about the September 9 Israeli attacks on Doha, and condemned the violation of sovereignty of Qatar, at the UNHRC in Geneva today.
Days after the IDF strikes on a building in Doha, that were aimed to eliminate the top Hamas leadership involved in the October 7, 2023, attack in Israel, India advocated for restraint and diplomacy to ensure peace and security in the region.
India’s envoy to Geneva Arindam Bagchi, conveying India’s position at the UN Human Rights Commission, during an urgent debate on the "recent military aggression carried out by Israel against the State of Qatar on 9 September 2025", said that India is deeply concerned about the recent attacks in Doha and their impact on the security situation in the region.
