India welcomes new interim Nepal govt under PM Sushila Karki

New Delhi, Sep 12 (UNI India tonight welcomed the formation of a new interim government in Nepal, led by Prime Minister Sushila Karki, and expressed hope that it will help in fostering peace and stability.
The Ministry of External Affairs, in a late night statement, also said that India as a close neighbour will continue to work closely with Nepal for the well-being and prosperity of their people.
“We welcome the formation of a new Interim Government in Nepal, led by Right Honourable Mrs Sushila Karki. We are hopeful that this would help in fostering peace and stability.

New Delhi, July 18 (UNI) Hours after climate activist Sonam Wangchuk was removed from the Jantar Mantar protest site by Delhi Police and admitted to Safdarjung Hospital, his wife, Gitanjali J. Angmo, appealed that no medication or medical procedure be administered without the consent of his family and the doctors who had been monitoring his health throughout his 20-day hunger strike.
