IndiGo, Akasa Air flights set to take off from Navi Mumbai Airport from Dec 25

Mumbai, Nov 15 (UNI) IndiGo and Akasa Air have officially announced that their respective flight operations will commence from the new Adani-owned Navi Mumbai International Airport (NMIA) from December 25.
It may be recalled that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had inaugurated Phase-1 of the NMIA which was constructed at a cost of Rs 19,650 crore, on October 8, 2025.
IndiGo announced that its flight operations will begin from NMIA from December 25 with domestic air services to 10 cities across India including Delhi, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, North Goa (Mopa), Jaipur, Nagpur, Cochin, and Mangalore, from December 25.

Second Tadoba Tigress moved to Sahyadri Tiger Reserve

Nagpur, Dec 10 (UNI) A second tigress from the Tadoba-Andhari Tiger Reserve has been relocated to the Sonarli acclimatisation enclosure at Chandoli National Park in Maharashtra’s Sahyadri Tiger Reserve as part of ongoing breeding and conservation initiatives, the forest department release said.

Maharashtra Govt to recover Rs 35 crore wrongly paid under 'Laadki Bahin Scheme'

Nagpur, Dec 10 (UNI) The Maharashtra government has confirmed that nearly Rs 35 crore was disbursed to ineligible beneficiaries under the 'Laadki Bahin scheme', a welfare programme that provides a monthly stipend of Rs 1,500 to women from economically weaker section.

Leopard enters house in Nagpur's Pardi area; 4 injured, rescue op underway

Nagpur, Dec 10 (UNI) A leopard entered a house in the Pardi area of eastern Nagpur on Wednesday, sparking panic among residents and prompting a swift rescue operation by the Forest Department’s Transit Treatment Centre, officials said.
Four people sustained injuries during the rescue attempt.

Opposition leaders stage protest on Vidhan Bhavan steps, demand complete loan waivers

Prominent leaders from the Maha Vikas Aghadi, including Congress's Vijay Wadettiwar, Shiv Sena's Aditya Thackeray, and NCP's Shashikant Shinde, spearheaded the protest, voicing their concerns with fervent slogans on the steps of the legislative building.
