IndiGo expands services: Direct flights from Purnea to Kolkata

Patna, Sep 10 (UNI) In a significant boost to Bihar’s regional air connectivity, IndiGo Airlines will commence its first direct commercial flight service from Purnea to Kolkata on September 15.
IndiGo official sources said today that launching of the first-ever regular passenger flight from Purnea Airport is an important milestone under the Regional Connectivity Scheme (UDAN). Booking for the new service opened on September 10. The flight will operate thrice a week including Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
As per the schedule, the flight will depart from Purnea at 2:30 PM and arrive at Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport, Kolkata at 3:40 PM. The return flight from Kolkata will take off at 12:30 PM and land in Purnea at 1:40 PM.
