Iran condemns European Parliament's "meddlesome, irresponsible" resolution

Tehran, Jan. 24 (UNI) Iran’s Foreign Ministry on Friday denounced a European Parliament resolution criticizing Tehran over human rights violations during recent unrest, calling it “meddlesome and irresponsible.”
The European Parliament on Thursday expressed “full solidarity” with Iranians, accused the government of rights violations, and called for the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps to be designated a terrorist organization.
In a statement, Iran said the resolution contained “false and incorrect” claims and lacked moral authority, citing the EU’s support for sanctions, compliance with US embargoes, and alleged complicity with Israel in military actions.
