Iran has resumed full access to most nuclear facilities, except those damaged in 12-day war, says IAEA chief Grossi

Vienna, Dec 15 (UNI) While the IAEA has resumed its cooperation with Iran, and has been granted access by authorities to inspect majority of its nuclear facilities as per agreement, it has been barred from resuming inspection of several of the country's most sensitive nuclear sites following June strikes, said Director General Rafael Grossi today.
Grossi, speaking to RIA Novosti, said that inspectors from the UN nuclear watchdog had been allowed access to many of the Iranian facilities as per its cooperation agreement, its officers were being continuously denied access to those sites targeted and damaged by the Israeli-US airstrikes in June.
"We are only allowed to access sites that were not hit," he said, welcoming Tehran's resumption of inspections as an important step, though deemed it insufficient, as the data it originally would need to be greatly reworked in light of the new developments.
