Iranian society divided as hardliners protest IAEA deal while Parliament - IRGC endorses it

Tehran, Sep 16 (UNI) Iranian hardline elements have protested against the country's recently reached agreement with the IAEA in Cairo, despite its blessing by a top decision-making body linked to the Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
Ironically, the country's now blacklisted paramilitary group the Islamic Revolutionary Guards supported the agreement.
The agreement, brokered by Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, seeks to resolve a months-long standoff with the UN watchdog after Tehran barred inspectors following surprise U.S. and Israeli strikes on nuclear sites in June.
