Iraqi intelligence arrests 2 key IS members outside Iraq

Baghdad, Feb 24 (UNI) The Iraqi National Intelligence Service (INIS) on Saturday announced the arrest of two local leaders of the extremist Islamic State (IS) militant group in an operation outside Iraq.
After intelligence tracking for years, Iraqi intelligence agents arrested "two dangerous IS terrorist leaders involved in the most heinous terrorist crimes in Iraq in an operation outside Iraq," according to an INIS statement.
The statement stated that intelligence personnel brought the detainees to justice in Iraq without mentioning the place of detention.

At least 6 killed in clashes between Sudanese army, paramilitary forces in N Darfur

Khartoum, April 15 (UNI) At least six civilians were killed and 61 others injured in clashes between the Sudanese Armed Forces and the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces in El Fasher, the capital city of North Darfur State, the Sudanese Doctors' Union said.
The injured were still arriving at the hospital despite a shortage of equipment and blood donors, the non-governmental union said in a statement.
