IRIS taps booming aromatherapy market

Bengaluru, Sept 11 (UNI) India’s aromatherapy market is on a sharp growth trajectory, projected to rise from nearly Rs 18,480 crore in 2025 to more than Rs 41,400 crore by 2031 at a compound annual rate above 14 per cent.
Seeking a share of this fast-expanding wellness space, IRIS Home Fragrances, the premium home-fragrance brand from the house of Cycle Pure Agarbathi, today announced the launch of its new Aromatherapy range.
Company executives said the collection blends traditional healing practices with modern wellness needs and is rooted in aromachology, the scientific study of how scents influence behaviour and emotions. It aims to support respiratory health, relieve stress, refresh the senses and promote relaxation.
The range features seven signature fragrances carefully chosen for their therapeutic benefits: avender for relaxation and sound sleep. Ylang-Ylang to uplift mood and reduce anxiety. Eucalyptus for respiratory wellness. Peppermint to refresh and energise. Frankincense to calm the mind and aid meditation. Orange to brighten mood and ease tension. Lemongrass to invigorate and purify surroundings.
“Our aim is to make wellness an integral part of daily living,” said Kiran Ranga, Managing Director of IRIS Home Fragrances. “With the Aromatherapy range we are bringing together the age-old healing power of essential oils and the convenience of contemporary formats, helping people adopt simple, safe self-care rituals.”
The line comprises 18 products across three formats: four ready-to-use massage oils in 200-ml bottles for deep relaxation, targeted relief and skin nourishment; four 10-ml roll-on oils, pre-diluted for direct application on pulse points such as wrists, temples and behind the ears; and ten pure essential oils in 15-ml bottles, made from concentrated plant extracts for use in diffusers, massages (when blended with carrier oils), inhalation or bath rituals.
IRIS said the products are crafted with a focus on safety, purity and effectiveness. The massage oils are designed to induce body relaxation and ease muscle tension, while the roll-ons offer quick relief from stress, improve sleep quality and calm breathing — convenient for today’s mobile lifestyles. Essential oils can support mood enhancement, respiratory comfort, concentration and relaxation, depending on how they are used.
Prices start at Rs 199, and the collection is available at IRIS Aroma Boutiques, leading retail stores, e-commerce and quick-commerce platforms, as well as on the company’s website.
IRIS Home Fragrances is a division of Ripple Fragrances, the spatial fragrance arm of Mysuru-based NR Group, which is best known for its flagship incense brand, Cycle Pure Agarbathi.
Established in 1948, the NR Group is a leader in the incense industry and one of the few Indian companies to create and blend perfumes in-house. Its subsidiary NESSO manufactures floral and herbal extracts and holds a leading share in global markets for Tuberose and Jasmine concentrates.
