Israeli cabinet to meet Thursday to approve Gaza, hostages deal - Reports

Tel Aviv, Jan 15 (UNI) Israeli cabinet will meet on Thursday to approve an agreement with Palestinian movement Hamas on a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and the release of hostages, Israeli state broadcaster Kan reported on Wednesday.
Earlier in the day, Egyptian broadcaster Al Qahera News reported that a ceasefire agreement had been reached and a joint statement would soon be issued.
Kan's source also confirmed reaching an agreement after a round of talks in Qatar.
