Itanagar Police solve theft case, recover stolen cash

Itanagar, Apr 18 (UNI) The Itanagar Police have cracked a theft case within two days and recovered the entire stolen amount of Rs one lakh, providing timely relief to the victim, a senior officer said on Friday.
According to police, the case was reported on April 16 when one Hura Karuk of Chambang, Kra Daadi district lodged an FIR at the Itanagar Police station, stating that while he was attending to his ailing child admitted at RK. Mission Hospital an amount of Rs one lakh kept in his vehicle was stolen by unknown miscreants.
Itanagar SP Rohit Rajbir Singh said that upon receipt of the complaint, a case was registered under Section 305(b) of the BNS and an investigation was promptly launched by a police team under the supervision of SDPO Kengo Dirchi. The team rounded up habitual offenders and intensified both technical and human intelligence efforts.
