J&K: Do not dare drive on city roads if RC is suspended; Jammu Traffic Police has all eyes on you

Jammu, Jun 11 (UNI) In action mode, the Jammu Traffic Police have launched a major crackdown on vehicles plying on city roads with suspended Registration Certificates (RCs) after five or more pending traffic challans for violations.
Official sources said, “The Jammu and Kashmir Transport Department and Traffic Police have identified and suspended the Registration Certificates (RCs) of more than 26,000 vehicles in Jammu district. The action targets habitual traffic violators with five or more pending challans, in compliance with strict road safety directions issued by the Supreme Court.”
“In view of this, the Jammu Traffic Police have launched a major drive against such violators and have started seizing vehicles operating on city roads despite having suspended RCs,” they added.
