Jharkhand tableau at Bharat Parv 2026 to showcase greenery, wildlife & tribal culture

Ranchi, Jan 22 (UNI) On the occasion of Republic Day 2026, the tableau of Jharkhand will emerge as a major attraction at Bharat Parv 2026, to be held at the Red Fort.
Through its tableau, the state will present a compelling depiction of Jharkhand’s rich natural heritage, valuable biodiversity and strong commitment to environmental conservation. This year’s theme, “Mantra of Freedom: Vande Mataram” and Viksit Bharat, will highlight the deep connection between nature and nationalism.
The Jharkhand tableau will prominently feature the state’s lush greenery, abundant water resources and eco-tourism potential. Iconic sites such as the Dassam Falls will be showcased alongside representations of wildlife, symbolising the state’s biodiversity and conservation efforts.

Mizoram to hand over rehab centre to Presbyterian Church

Expert panel on job reservation policy in Meghalaya for introducing creamy layer principle

Shillong, Feb 18 (UNI) The report of the Expert Committee on the State Reservation Policy, which was tabled in the Meghalaya assembly on Wednesday, has recommended the state government retain the 1972 Reservation Policy as it stands, even as it recommended the government to examine the introduction of the “creamy layer” principle.
