JMM stakes claim on 12 seats for Bihar Assembly polls

Ranchi, Oct 5 (UNI) The Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) has staked claim to contest 12 assembly seats in the upcoming Bihar elections, focusing on constituencies bordering Jharkhand.
Senior JMM leaders Sudivya Kumar Sonu and Vinod Pandey will meet RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav in Patna on October 6 to discuss seat-sharing arrangements, following directions from party president and Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren.
According to party sources, JMM has identified Tarapur, Katoria, Manihari, Jhajha, Banka, Thakurganj, Rupauli, Rampur, Banmankhi, Jamalpur, Pirpainti, and Chakai as potential constituencies, citing a strong organisational presence and voter base in these areas.
