Kakinada Parks to Get Facelift Under City Beautification Drive: Commissioner

Kakinada, June 9 (UNI) Kakinada Municipal Commissioner N.V.V. Satyanarayana on Tuesday said that all parks in the city will be upgraded and beautified as part of an ongoing city beautification programme.
During a morning inspection of the historic Gandhi Nagar Park near here, the Commissioner interacted with morning walkers, senior citizens practising yoga and youth engaged in sports activities at the park.
Responding to complaints from visitors about non-functional gym equipment, Satyanarayana directed municipal officials to undertake immediate repairs and restore the facilities on a priority basis.
