Kannur to host handloom conclave on Oct 16

Kannur, Oct 15 (UNI) Aimed at tapping the huge potential of Kerala’s handloom sector by blending tradition with innovation, the Department of Industries, in concert with the Handloom and Textiles Directorate, is organising the ‘Handloom Conclave 2025’ here on October 16.
Kerala Minister for Industries, Law and Coir P Rajeeve will inaugurate the one-day conclave at Rubco Auditorium at 10 am. Minister for Registration, Museums and Archaeology Ramachandran Kadannappally will preside over the function.
MPs K Sudhakaran and Santhosh Kumar, along with district MLAs K K Shylaja, K P Mohanan, Sunny Joseph, K V Sumesh, T I Madhusoodanan, Sajeev Joseph, and M Vijin, will also attend the event. APM Mohamed Hanish, Principal Secretary for Industries, will welcome the gathering.
