Karnataka Lokayukta submits final report in MUDA land allotment case

Bengaluru, Jan 13 (UNI) The Karnataka Lokayukta police on Tuesday submitted their final report in the investigation into alleged corruption in the allotment of housing sites to Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s wife by the Mysore Urban Development Authority (MUDA) in 2021, as well as other instances of irregularities involving the authority.
The filing comes after over a month of delay, following a special court directive issued on October 9, which had set a two-month deadline for submission of the final report in cases involving elected representatives.
The case was originally flagged by RTI activist Snehamayi Krishna in 2024, alleging that 14 MUDA housing sites were allotted to the CM’s wife in exchange for a 3.16-acre property. Krishna had moved a contempt-of-court application on December 23, 2025, citing delays in filing the final report.
