Kashmir IGP pushes for better convictions

Srinagar, Sep 16 (UNI) Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kashmir, V K Birdi, emphasized strengthening investigations and building robust cases to boost conviction rates in narcotics and terrorism cases, ensuring effective follow-up for successful prosecutions.
Birdi made these remarks while chairing a security review meeting to assess the prevailing security situation in Kashmir.
A police spokesman said the meeting was attended by all Range DIsG, district SSsP of Kashmir Zone, and other senior officers.
