Keen to see Delhi gets a govt which serves its people: Sitharaman

New Delhi, Feb 8 (UNI) As the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is almost sure to win Delhi Assembly election and form the government after nearly a quarter of century, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said the NCR (National Capital Region) should have a government which serves the cause of the people of Delhi.
“Under PM Modi's leadership, we are very keen that Delhi gets a government which serves its people and this is something which is the need of the hour for attaining Viksit Bharat 2047. The National Capital Region should have a government which serves the cause of the people,” Sitharaman said while addressing the media, post Budget, along with RBI.
“I strongly believe that the roadmap which the PM has set for the country should certainly take Delhi to the top priority and serve its people from every point of view, be it Human Development, Infrastructure development, Social sector growth like schools, hospitals,” she added.
