Wayanad, Mar 27 (UNI) Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Thursday unveiled the plaque to mark the laying of foundation stone for the model township here which will be constructed for the survivors of Mundakkal-Chooralmala landslide in 64 hectares of land acquired for the rehabilitation process in Elstone Estate, Kalpetta.
Vijayan said, the rehabilitation process for the survivors of Wayanad devastated landslide will go down in history as Kerala's unique survival. He said the unity and strength of Kerala has brought us here for the rehabilitation process in Wayanad and all the political parties that cooperate with the mission are considered as a rarity in the country.
The CM also said "Kerala unity and humanity helped us execute this model township project and we proved that determination of people can overcome even the impossible things".
