Kiev summons Chinese ambassador over reports of Chinese soldiers in Ukraine

Moscow, Apr 23 (UNI) The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry said that it summoned the Chinese ambassador to Ukraine over reports of Chinese soldiers allegedly captured in Ukraine and information about the alleged involvement of Chinese companies in the production of military products in Russia.
"Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to Ukraine Ma Shengkun was invited to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. During the meeting, Deputy Foreign Minister Yevhen Perebyinis emphasized that the facts of the participation of Chinese citizens in military operations against Ukraine, as well as the involvement of Chinese companies in the production of military products in Russia, are of serious concern," the ministry said on Telegram on Tuesday.
The ministry added that it handed over "evidence" to the Chinese side.
