KKR bowling coach lauds Gambhir for decision to have Narine open

Chennai, May 26 (UNI) Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) bowling coach Bharat Arun on Sunday lauded Gautam Gambhir for his strategic decision to have Sunil Narine open the batting, a move that has significantly impacted the team’s performance this season.
Arun highlighted the transformative effect of this decision on KKR’s batting lineup.
"He has brought a different dimension to our batting this year. It was Gautam who insisted that Sunny (Narine) open and what Sunny did was outstanding,” Arun said to the broadcaster after KKR gave a royal thumping to Sunrisers Hyderabad at MA Chidambaram Stadium here on Sunday.
