KLEF deemed to be univ launches 3 student-built satellites in AP

Guntur (Andhra Pradesh), Oct 18 (UNI) KL Deemed to be University (KLEF), also known as Koneru Lakshmaiah Education Foundation, successfully launched its three student-built satellites — KLSAT-2 (2U CubeSat), KLJAC (Lightweight Pico Balloon Satellite), and CanSat (4U Module) — from its Vaddeswaram Campus, in the district, on Saturday.
It marked a defining moment in the institution’s pursuit of indigenous space technology and research excellence. Designed under the student satellite project, the initiative was led by a KLSAT team from the RF & Microwave Centre of Excellence, in collaboration with Andhra Pradesh State Council of Science & Technology (APCOST) and REDWING.
The event was attended by Andhra Pradesh Assembly Deputy Speaker Kanumuru Raghu Rama Krishna Raju; union Minister of State for Heavy Industries & Steel Bhupathi Raju Srinivasa Varma and, President and Chancellor, KLEF Chancellor and Presiden Koneru Satyanarayana.
