Kochi-Muziris Biennale, South Asia's premier art festival, opens today

Kochi, Dec 12 (UNI) The sixth edition of the Kochi-Muziris Biennale (KMB), South Asia's largest contemporary art festival, opens today, transforming Kochi into a global hub of artistic exchange for the next 110 days.
Organised by the Kochi Biennale Foundation (KBF), the Biennale will run from December 12, 2025, to March 31, 2026, featuring an expansive programme of exhibitions, performances, community interactions, and artist collaborations across the city.
The official inauguration will be held this evening at 6 pm at the Parade Ground in Fort Kochi, where Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan will formally open the Biennale. His participation underscores the State's sustained commitment to cultural innovation, artistic advancement, and the preservation of Kerala's distinctive heritage.
