KPop Demon Hunters' crowned Billboard No.1

Los Angeles, Sep 15 (UNI) Nearly three months after its release, KPop "Demon Hunters" has ascended to the summit of the Billboard 200, marking yet another milestone in its extraordinary cultural sweep.
Unveiled in June and later expanded in a deluxe edition on September 5, the album has now been enthroned at No. 1, after weeks of hovering tantalisingly at second place, reports The Hollywood Reporter.
The film’s lead single, “Golden,” has been sitting at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Three other songs from the film are in the Hot 100 top 10. “Your Idol” and “Soda Pop,” sung by the film’s fictional boy group Saja Boys, sit at No. 4 and No. 5, respectively, and Huntrix’s “How It’s Done” sits at No. 9 on the chart.
EJAE, Rei Ami and Audrey Nuna, who voice the characters of Rumi, Zoey and Mira in the hit Netflix and Sony Animation movie KPop Demon Hunters, presented the album of the year award to Sabrina Carpenter for Short ‘N Sweet at last week’s MTV Video Music Awards.
“These past few months have been crazy and amazing, such an incredible ride for us,” EJAE told the crowd when the trio walked onto the stage.
The animated feature, a collaboration between Netflix and Sony Animation, has swiftly become the streamer's most-watched title to date. What began as an animated experiment has morphed into a global cultural juggernaut, with its soundtrack spending weeks entrenched in the Billboard top ten. The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed that a sequel film is in talks at Netflix and Sony Animation.
