L’Oreal Paris and Tira bring Paris Fashion Week experience to India with ‘Runway to Paris’

Mumbai, Sep 12 (UNI) L’Oreal Paris, in collaboration with Tira, Reliance Retail’s beauty platform, has launched ‘Runway to Paris’, a groundbreaking initiative that brings the spirit and style of Paris Fashion Week to Indian shores.
Held in Mumbai, the event served as a prelude to the global fashion spectacle, spotlighting emerging Indian fashion and beauty talent.
Designed as a contest, the platform brought together student teams from across the country to showcase their creative looks inspired by the global theme, “Walk Your Worth”, from L’Oreal Paris’ iconic Le Défilé.
Eight shortlisted teams presented their designs before a jury of industry leaders, with the winning team earning the rare opportunity to attend Le Défilé at Paris Fashion Week, a once-in-a-lifetime global exposure.
The event also marked the launch of L’Oreal Paris’ Infallible Laque Resistance Liquid Lipstick, featuring the campaign message “What’s Your Shine Statement”, celebrating self-expression and individuality through high-shine color.
Speaking on the occasion, Dario Zizzi, General Manager, L’Oreal Paris India, said, “Runway to Paris is more than a showcase, it’s a movement celebrating creativity and empowerment.”
Bhakti Modi, Co-founder of Tira, added, “This collaboration bridges global fashion with local talent, making aspirational beauty more accessible to Indian consumers.”
The event marked a milestone moment in India’s fashion and beauty landscape, building a creative bridge from Mumbai to the world stage in Paris.
