LG reviews MCD’s ongoing works, officers directed to be responsive to public feedback

New Delhi, Apr 17 (UNI) Delhi’s Lieutenant Governor Taranjit Singh Sandhu on Friday reviewed the status of several important initiatives and the ongoing development works of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD).
Sandhu, in a meeting with the MCD Commissioner and other senior officers concerned of the civic body held discussions focused on strengthening service delivery, resolving legacy issues, and enhancing enforcement and accountability across all the MCD zones.
During the meeting, the officers were directed to stay closely aligned with on-ground realities and remain responsive to public feedback to bridge existing gaps in service expectations.

New Delhi, May 14 (UNI) India on Thursday said two LPG carriers transporting fuel cargo for the country have safely crossed the strategically crucial Strait of Hormuz, while confirming that an Indian sailing vessel sank in Omani waters after an onboard fire incident, with all crew members rescued safely.
