Long queues formed to see golden statue of Goddess Annapurna

Varanasi, Oct 18 (UNI) In the holy city of Kashi, a long queue of devotees lined up since early morning to see Goddess Annapurna on the auspicious occasion of Dhanteras today. After the morning aarti, the temple doors were opened for darshan.
Treasure (coins and lava) were also distributed among the devotees. In view of the large crowds, the temple premises are being monitored by CCTV and drones for security.
"Shakti Commando" teams, along with anti-eve teasing squads, have been deployed to protect female devotees. A women's help desk has also been set up.

Mehbooba fears for Kashmir if docs found involved in Delhi blast after probe
