Maha Congress chief pays omage to Dr. Ambedkar

Mumbai, Dec 6 (UNI) On the occasion of the Mahaparinirvan Diwas of Bharat Ratna Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar today, Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee President Harshvardhan Sapkal visited 'Chaityabhoomi' at Dadar in central Mumbai and paid homage to Dr. Ambedkar the great leader,.
He later visited the medical check-up and medicine distribution centre set up by the Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee and Mumbai Youth Congress at Shivaji Park.
Speaking to the media afterwards, he said that slavery and exploitation were deep-rooted stains on global social systems. Among the great leaders who broke these chains and called for social justice, equality, and fraternity, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar stands tall.
