Maha: Father, son die of electrocution in Jamkhed Taluka

Ahilyanagar, June 24 (UNI) A forty-two-year-old man and his son died after electrocution in Shikare Vast in Jamkhed taluka of the district on Monday evening.
According to police, the deceased were identified as Kakasaheb Daulat Shikare (42) and Ganesh Kakasaheb Shikare (15). Kakasaheb Shikare, a member of Balghan Gram Panchayat in Shikare Vasti of Jamkhed Taluka, and his son Ganesh had gone to apply fertiliser to the field.
At this time, both of them died due to electrocution from the MSEB overhead wires that were already broken at that place. It is suspected that this incident may have happened on Monday evening.
