Maha govt to provide funds of about Rs. 330 Cr for construction of various buildings in the premises of Govt Engineering College: minister

Kolhapur, June 12 (UNI) Maharashtra Higher & Technical Education Minister Chandrakant Patil today said that the government will provide funds of about Rs. 330 crore for construction of various state-of-the-art buildings in the premises of Government Engineering College (GEC) as per the revised approval of the government and assured that there will be no shortage of funds at all.
Presiding over a review meeting held at the Nature Park of the Government Engineering College here, Patil said that the Public Works Department will spend Rs 4 crore and the Higher Technical Education Department will spend Rs 5 crore to provide permanent water supply in this new building.
Also, about 350 professors have been recruited in the Higher Technical Education Department through MPSC.

Mumbai/ Nagpur, July 18 ( UNI) Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)'s chief spokesperson for Maharashtra Navnath Ban on Saturday launched a sharp attack on Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut and Uddhav Thackeray, questioning their connection with the Ram temple movement and saying they should first read and recite at least a few verses from the Ram Raksha Stotra before claiming to lead any agitation in its name.Ban accused the Thackeray-led faction of using Lord Ram’s name for political purposes and defended Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis’s long-standing association with the Ram temple movement.
