Maha: IAC chief demands to hold local self-govt elections in 2025

Mumbai, Nov 30 (UNI) As the Lok Sabha and Maharashtra Assembly elections are over, India Against Corruption (IAC) founder-president, Hemant Patil, on Saturday demanded that the new government may announce elections to the local self-government bodies in February or March next year.
He said that elections to local bodies in the state have been stalled for many years, therefore, many development works in rural areas as well as in urban areas have come to a standstill.
