Maha Minster orders coordinated action to clear encroachments on Children's Aid Society land at Mankhurd

Mumbai, June 10 (UNI) Maharashtra Guardian Minister for Mumbai Suburban District Ashish Shelar on Wednesday directed agencies to take coordinated action to remove encroachments from state government, PWD and Tata Power land at Mankhurd in North-East Mumbai and restore it for the Children's Aid Society.
Chairing a review meeting at PL Deshpande Maharashtra Kala Academy here, Shelar asked BMC, PWD, police, Women and Child Development department and Tata Power to act immediately against illegal warehouses along the highway, unauthorised constructions under high-voltage lines and activities in gas pipeline safety zones, an official statement said.
The minister instructed the City Survey Department to urgently demarcate boundaries of lands belonging to the Children's Aid Society, Tata Power, PWD and other government agencies and provide authenticated maps signed by all departments.
