Maha: NCP to hold Joint Executive meeting in Mumbai amid leadership role speculation

Mumbai, May 16 (UNI) A joint meeting of the central executive committee of the Nationalist Congress Party is scheduled to take place in Mumbai next week amid growing political discussions over the absence of senior leaders Praful Patel and Sunil Tatkare from key organisational responsibilities in the party’s newly submitted executive list.
According to party sources, Patel and Tatkare have contacted General Secretary Parth Pawar and Treasurer Jay Pawar regarding the proposed meeting. The leaders reportedly stressed the need for a unified communication strategy to remove confusion among party workers and ensure a clear message reaches the cadre.
The discussions gained momentum after the list of the party’s national executive committee submitted to the Election Commission did not mention any organisational responsibilities for Patel and Tatkare, leading to intense political speculation and uncertainty among workers.
