Maha: Sena UBT MLA questions ministers’ absence during house discussion, sparks debate

Nagpur, Dec 10 (UNI) Shiv Sena (UBT) MLA Bhaskar Jadhav on Wednesday voiced strong objections over the frequent absence of ministers in the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly and the lack of official responses during a discussion on calling attention notices related to monsoon-related losses this year.
Two notices were scheduled for discussion, one addressing rain-related damage across the state and the other concerning losses caused by the release of water from reservoirs in Nashik and the Jayakwadi dam into the Godavari river.
At the outset of the discussion, Jadhav criticised ministers for being “routinely unavailable” and highlighted that members were not provided with printed replies beforehand.
