Maha state song to be mandatory now for all schools in State during assembly : Bhuse

Mumbai, Jan 14 (UNI) Maharashtra state song ‘Jai Jai Maharashtra Maza’ will now be mandatory for all schools in the state, irrespective of their board affiliations, School Education Minister Dada Bhuse said.
The song will be played after the national anthem during daily school assembly, according to a release on Tuesday by the State School Education department.
The state song should be played in all schools irrespective of the board they are affiliated to.
Not only government-run schools, even CBSE, ICSE and other international board schools in Maharashtra will have to play the state song everyday after the national anthem.

The initiative aims to familiarise students across the state with Maharashtra’s anthem and foster a deeper connection with the state’s identity, Bhuse added.
