Mahila Court adjourns Vijay-Sangeetha divorce case plea to Aug 7

Chennai, June 15 (UNI) A Chengapattu Family Court on Monday adjourned to August 7, next hearing in the divorce petition filed by Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) Founder Vijay's wife Sangeetha seeking dissolution of the marriage alleging tht he was involved in an adulterous relationship with an actress.
Both Vijay and Sangeetha did not appear before the court through video conferencing when the case was taken up for hearing by Chengalpattu Family Court Judge Sujatha.
After directing both the counsels to file an affidavit, the Judge who was hearing the case for the first time after being transferred to the present post, directed both Vijay and Sangeetha to appear via video conferencing and adjourned next hearing in the case to August seven.
