Malviya Nagar fire: Chaotic condition of hotel sector in Delhi is outcome of 27 years of corruption by successive Delhi govts: Harsh Malhotra

New Delhi, Jun 3 (UNI) Delhi BJP president and MP from East Delhi Harsh Malhotra on Wednesday said that it is a matter of grave concern that during the Aam Aadmi Party government in 2024, a Bread and Breakfast license issued for only six rooms was allegedly used to operate multiple rooms across the entire building, in the illegal hotel in Malviya Nagar's Hauz Rani in which a fire claimed 21 lives.
He also stated that during the tenure of the then AAP government, the establishment also received high-load electricity connections, while even the mandatory Fire NOC was reportedly not properly verified.
He also expressed deep sorrow over the untimely death of 21 people in the fire incident at the hotel allegedly operating illegally in Hauz Rani area of Malviya Nagar Assembly constituency.

New Delhi, Jun 18 (UNI) The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Thursday chargesheeted a key CPI (Maoist) operative for inciting a mob at a funeral of a deceased member of the proscribed terrorist organisation to promote unlawful activities.
In the chargesheet filed before the NIA special court at Nampally, Hyderabad, Gade Innaiah alias Gade Inna Reddy has been charged under relevant sections of BNS, 2023 and UA(P)A, 1967.

Indian Army contingent to participate in joint military exercise Khaan Quest in Mongolia

The military exercise is scheduled to be conducted from June 20 to July 3 at Five Hills Training Area, Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.

SC declines interim relief against CBSE’s three-language policy, tags plea with pending batch
