Mamata Banerjee’s policies triggering unrest in TMC: BJP leader Mangal Pandey

Patna, Jun 8 (UNI) Senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and the party’s West Bengal in-charge, Mangal Pandey, claimed on Monday that growing dissatisfaction within the All India Trinamool Congress reflects increasing discontent with the policies of former West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee.
Pandey alleged here that several TMC leaders and elected representatives are disappointed with Banerjee’s leadership style and policies, creating political turbulence within the party. He pointed to reports that some TMC Members of Parliament had written to Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla seeking recognition as a separate group in Parliament and expressing a desire to join the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), calling it an indication of growing internal unrest.
The BJP leader further alleged that Banerjee’s “authoritarian approach,” appeasement politics, and anti-development policies have made many TMC MPs and MLAs uncomfortable. According to him, the increasing confidence of the public in Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the union government’s development agenda has also contributed to dissatisfaction within TMC in West Bengal.
